IN my experience taking sam houston to IAH in teh morning is fairly breezy. And I used to do Texas city every day from I10/Hwy6 intersection and it didnt take more than an hour on most days for a 54 mile commute on 45.

Honestly, in their shoes, I would live near Johnson Space Center (ie Clear Lake). That way one spouse is nearby for kids school activities.

No one wants to live near Greenspoint, and there is no reason whatsoever to live in The Woodlands. I mean, do they really want to destroy quality of life/family time for such a hellish commute?

Or they’re coming from WA state. In which case they’re in for a rude awakening. Our taxes are higher and so is our electricity ...
