My husband and I wish to move into the Hunters Terrace section neighborhood in Katy Texas 77493. My son and his family moved there several months ago. We have spent some quality time there and we love it.. We need a one story home, no steps... One story homes are hard to come by there. if you should happen to know if someone there is thinking of selling in the near future, I would so appreciate the heads up early in the game. Like everyone else in this world , we miss our family, grandchildren,,,..Need to live close by .. Thanks

My recommendation, I'm sure you already know, is to go to either HAR, Redfin, Zillow and the like to look for one. Even if they're thinking about selling you wouldn't trust them with the asking price anyway, and vice versa. The best for both parties is to let the market decides. Also, you're in a disadvantage if the potential seller knows that you're looking for a home in that area. Good luck!

Default Still searching for a home in pine forest

I apologize for the late response, Yes, I agree that Pine Forest is a gorgeous neighborhood!!!! Very similar to the one that I am leaving in New York. I love the big old trees and the homes that are not cookie cutter all the same... Just a beautiful, quiet neighborhood.
Yes, I am working with a broker,, and we look every single day on all the real estate sites.
As soon as our travel ban is lifted, we will be coming to Katy to stay with my son and the baby, so we can continue our search.
In the meantime, perhaps information on a future home sale, One story, 4 bedroom home would be so appreciated.
Best regards to all
Freda
