hi! my son is 13 y o and he has insane interest in history, his knowledge is extensive because he spends all his time researching about history. Unfortunately its not very common hobby among kids of this age, he can't play sports due to birth defect, and is quite lonely... His face lights up every time you start talk history with him. If anyone knows of any history based clubs, camps, etc. please share the info, our family would greatly appreciate it.

The Texas Historical Commission’s state historic sites are developing fun and engaging in-person summer camps and programs for youth to learn about history and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

Whether you are looking for easy activities or a week-long camp, our state historic sites offer many opportunities for budding historians across the state.
