Pakistani/Indians are spread out through Houston and the burbs. I do know that there is a large group in Stafford, which is southwest of Houston before Sugarland. A girlfriend of mine lived there, and most people on her street were Pakistani. I really can't comment on the area, except the schools are iffy and there are no property taxes. (I think)

Where is 77077? If you do an online search you may find Pakistani groups that share interests. That might be a good way to find out a good area in which to live. I think you'll enjoy Houston's cultural diversity.

Hello thank you for the responses, 77077 is the Zip code where my office is on dairy ashford side.

However my preference is to stay ideally near to children school and with in community

I found sugarland has some schools of Muslim origins and lots of Pakistani, Indians etc lives there.

It also appears to be 20 minutes drive from Zip code 77077.

What would be a decent and safe 3 bed home cost? to sale and rent as I am open to both options.

Also in Houston can I get family compunds where number are homes are inside a gated and secured community?

Thanks

I really do not believe this to be the case.

Why wouldn't you just live in 77077? There are some nice homes there, with nice tree lined streets.

I heard that area may not be very safe, we had some incidents near our offices

What are the pro and cons of Sugarland, rent and purchase property range for 3 or 4 bed home? thanks

77077 is a big zip code...I am currently renting in that area now and its about as quiet as anywhere else I have ever lived. The apartments do have a bit of crime around them, but if you get off of Briarforest and go 2-3 streets inside the neighborhoods, its perfectly safe.

Seriously, your coming from Pakistan...ALL of Houston is safe compared to Pakistan.

Go to HAR.com. You can search for single family homes and for rental. Use 77479 as your zip code for the First Colony area.
