Hi All - I am looking to buy a house. My wife works near Clay Road and Beltway 8 and looking somewhere closer. ~30 mins. I work downtown so all I need is Park and Ride. Looking for a safe neighborhood with nice schools as we are expecting our first child in May. My budget would be around 240-300k. we don't know much about the Houston Area as we moved from out of state this year. we are thinking COPPERFIELD SOUTHCREEK VILLAGE. Cypress? Katy? Northwest? Can you please suggest good areas to live in? Currently, we are renting in 77064. Thank you and Stay safe

Check out Villages of Cypress Lakes in the Cypress area. Under $300k, great schools and nice community.

Copperfield is a good option.
Also Jersey Village.

Second Copperfield and Jersey Village. Adding in Spring Shadows, older but closer.

Thanks all for your recommendations! We checked all the mentioned areas. They seem to be far from my work area. We are looking to settle between the Rio Grande and Jones Road area. 77064 ZIP Code

Also consider Willowbridge subdivision which is behind City of Jersey Village in unincorporated Harris County (Copperfield is also in unincorporated Harris County). Willowbridge is zoned to good schools as well, walking distance to Gleason Elem and zoned to same middle and high school as City of Jersey Village (Cook Middle and Jersey Village High). It is close to the West Little York Park & Ride (homes in City of Jersey Village are also closest to this Park & Ride).
Copperfield is a good choice too, but a bit further out, closest to the Hwy 290/FM 1960 Northwest Park & Ride.
