Can anyone who lives in (or used to) Bridgeland help me with the tax rate breakdown after application of any homestead exemptions, if there are any?

I understand no HE on MUD or WCID but anything on Cy-Fair ISD or on the other county/port items?

Also, anyone who moved there offer any experience on how quickly the valuation caught up with the purchase price?

Thanks in advance.

All the data you need is here https://hcad.org/search/jurisdictions/

Cy-Fair ISD exemption is the 25,000 State law amount plus 20%

Going to depend the section of Bridgeland you’re in. There are a few mud districts out there. The older sections have a lower tax rate than new as the mud taxes have already started decreasing.

Yes sir - all in the range ~3.4-3.6%.

I did a calculation on a 700k home in Parkland, and once you back out 25k and 20% on ISD, plus 20% on the other Harris County items (but not MUD and Water) you get an effective rate of about 3.1-3.2%.
