I am planning to admit my son to 6th grade of John Cooper in 2021. He gave his ISEE which was mediocre (6,6,7,7). Anyone with experience of about the school in general and middle school admission experience?

I'm not exactly sure what John Cooper is looking for in terms of scores for acceptance. The average here is 6.5 and normally the competitive schools like to see above 7. That said, I'm sure not everyone has above a 7 and it depends on what else he brings to the table in terms of athletics, arts, legacy, essays, interview, etc. Good luck to him!

The Cooper School has highly competitive admissions. From what I've heard, their selectivity is comparable to Kinkaid.
