We have always jokingly referred to the mosquito as the state bird of Texas.

Dang, I just saw a youtube video about fixing a pressure washer that froze and cracked its pump. Then I remembered mine stored in the backyard shed. Got a bad feeling about this since I did not anti-freeze it last fall.

Center Point Energy had in the past offered us a deal,5% discount for getting a gas generator,I wonder if it will offer again.
It may not be a bad idea .

The unusual cool weather last week was another arctic blast. Luckily it's April and the sun/earth tilt is much stronger than it was in early February. Had it happened a month earlier, temps would be around 32 in Houston (and the mid/upper 20s along the I-35 corridor) right on the cusp of rebuilding.
