This might be a very strange question: Could you burn religious/spiritual/Buddhist offerings (joss paper) in your backyard (HOA property)?

My family is looking for a Katy, Seven Lakes high school district house. Usually Asians do these things, but I’m wondering how and where they could burn joss paper?

Hope someone could be able to answer; thank you in advance!

What is your concern? About burning paper in YOUR backyard? Even if the HOA rules don't allow this, many people burn paper. Just do it safely.

I mean how much burning of paper are you talking about? I make a big cloud of smoke when I light up my fire pit and smoker. Never had issues.

Thanks for the reply; appreciated it.

I have a metal barrel (cut in half). Could be used as a big fire pit. The fire is big within the barrel. The burning last about 45 mins. I’m hoping if I find a house, the community would be okay for my “fire pit” smelling of burnt paper.
