In my perspective, the Pedway is like a “tunnel mall” filled with shops, eateries, public transportation, and businesses. The Lake effect keeps Chicago warmer than it would be without it.

I LOVE CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chicago is one of my favorite cities to visit. Its like a mini NYC, but so much more "accessible and manageable". Winters do suck, but weather is more or less tolerable 9 months of the year. Sales taxes are some of the worst I've ever seen in the US.

105 canceled already. 95-97, but that's still pretty hot for May.

I hate this weather. I really like weather with highs anywhere from the upper 50's to low 90's. Above ~92 starts to suck unless low humidity.

We have bermudagrss and had wanted to treat it that we cannot put until the grass had "woken up" for at least 3 weeks but daily highs had to remain below 85. All we got that fit that criteria were 2 weekends in April that were holiday weekends with unbearable pollen, so the grass didn't get treated and there is no physical opportunity left to do so with this weather. May is supposed to be highs in mid 80s, give or take.

We cannot afford to put in an in-ground pool ($100k+ all-in at today's prices), so we spend the entire summer inside, except for early morning and late evenings.

The community pool is a sea of people, since almost nobody in our community has an in ground pool, so don't go there much.

A you talking about heat index? Because the temperatures arent near that. Or was this an attempt at exaggeration with the hope no one would check?

Lol this weather doesn't bother me at all, I just came in from working in my garden. Plus it was 40 degrees yesterday in my former residence of northern Virginia. I'll take this every single time!

I got a map from Reddit for murders for Jan-April 2022, and they claim there is no pattern. So I overlaid it on a demographic map and it is clear there is a pattern:

Next time, give him not less than 30K bond! It should be more severe penalty
