Why Feast is closing, and what's next | Houston Restaurants | 29-95.com

Too bad such a top rated place in a top rated restaurant area is shutting down. Not that I ever ate there. The menu reminded me of the show Fear Factor, and that seemed to be a big reason people went there.

I went several times, but it's more of a place that appeals to you in the winter. The decor and menu just seem more inviting when its 40 outside. But this is Houston..so yeah.

Will miss the Bone Marrow and good red wine though on a cold winter's night. Can't find that too much in the States.

I love this place and I hate to see it go. This place is part of our great diversity

I didn't see the apeal either. Always sorry to see a restaurant close, of course, but not going to miss it.

only a few dishes are what i would consider being different or unusual. but again this is Texas something other than potato in mashed form and a kroger steak is pushing the limit for the masses

went numerous times, but not a frequent visitor. the food is heavy and not something i typically eat except for special occasions - lots of heavy proteins, lots of butter, sauces etc. i hope they decide to stay in the business. moving to cheaper rent, even if it has to be out of the center of the city i think they could do well

Bone marrow was good. But...bone marrow is always good. Wasn't impressed with much else. Was just OK, but not enough to justify anything. I always share my food with the fiance, and while some things were pretty good (I remember the tasty bread the most), some were pretty not good, considering the hype. Not going to miss this either. I'm so over trendy hyped up eateries as of late.
