If you had gotten one a few months ago, it would have been $50.00. The rates went up last month.

Also make sure you know the other rules about written permission from the property owner and a bathroom within so many feet and a host of others including a class and certificate you have to take and earn. It also depends on the type of food. If you are selling prepared pre-packaged food sort of like vending machine stuff, the rules are entirely different.

Default Garage Sales & Permits

I live in Houston, TX. and plan on having a big garage sale. I was wondering if I needed a permit in order to have one. Does anyone know the answer to my question?

Help! Running out of room in my closet,

*C

[orphaned quote & comment[/mod]

No permits for garage sales I don't believe. You need a permit to sell food.
