My son and I will watch the Texans game vs Rams. This is the 1st time I'll be in Texans game live. We are not interested with tailgating.

How early should we be at NRG site? From the time we get to NRG site how long is the line to the parking lot ( I will buy tickets to the green parking lot), walking towards NRG stadium then line to give the tickets?

I only need 1 ticket for 1 vehicle even though 2 of us are watching the game right? The reason I asked cuz after I bought the game tickets and clicked the parking ticket, ticketmaster put 2 tickets for parking. I didn't buy any parking ticket yet.

Those who's been to Texans game, please let me know your experience specially about parking and getting to stadium.

Yes you need only one parking ticket per vehicle. As for entering it all gets worse the closer to game time it is. Don't underestimate how long a walk it can be from parking to gate them up all the ramps to whatever level you may be on.

If you park at NRG then go early to avoid traffic. Have you considered taking the metro rail to NRG?

We sit at Level 1 which is the level closest to the field. I bought parking at Green lot.

Is 1hr enough for the line and all the walking?

It's best to leave early for game days because traffic going to NRG is hell. Those who live closest to NRG are more likely to take the metro rail to NRG. The reason why I say leave early for game days is parking fills up very fast.
