Another c store entering Houston market. Casey’s General bought Bucky’s and reports are showing that they are already selling Casey’s items in the Houston area Bucky’s.

Now we just need QuckTrip

Houston’s grocery store scene - amazing, top notch, probably best in Texas.

Houston’s c store scene - historically bad, probably worst of the big 4 metros. but has gotten a lot better recently. Circle K expanded big, 7 Eleven took over seemingly overnight in 2020 (and they’re all new so the 7 elevens in Houston are better then most places). La Michoacana’s c store format stores were basically the only nicer ones in Houston until recently. Regardless of how good you’d think Casey’s is, it’s undoubtedly better than your 2000s style Houston Exxon gas station. Hopefully QuikTrip joins the mix sooner or later.

I would like to see 7-11 expand their "evolution" stores into the Houston metro. I stopped by one last time I was in Dallas and it was pretty nice - maybe not as nice as 7-11 in East Asian countries - but still a big step up from the usual c store

The flagship On Cue + Phillips 66 on Westheimer is probably the best in Houston outside of Buc Ee’s.

Not everyone wants to shop at the high priced places like Whole Foods or Central Market all the time. Especially for quick convenience type things. Plus, they don't have gas. LOL
