Default Renting without Job

Whatever you do do NOT offer to give them a years rent up front, if thats what you meant in your post!!!....it;s unnessary and would tie up thousands for no good reason.....offer to pay an extra months rent up front and just get a short term job long enough to at least get an employer verification to satisfy the landlord.

Another easy alternative is to rent month to month at a apt complex amenable to that, OR lease a short term suite at a place like ExtendedStay America.....or others that are cheaper. You pay by credit card there at monthly rates -$800 to $1000 a month. typically. They dont; care about credit history or anything...I 've stayed there for months, until finding a permanent place. Very nice actually.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. We came up this weekend and realized we can just show our bank statements. That feels much better. Thanks again
