I am trying to track down home builders and subdivisions in my price range 150-225 in Katy, Sugar Land, RosenBerg Richmond areas. I have tried on the net and can't figure it out. Does anyone have a list of new home areas or established areas with inventory homes avail.

Any help would be appreciated because I am finally househunting next week

You can try this: Houston real estate, homes, condos and property for sale and rent in Houston, Texas neighborhoods : New Homes | Search Home Builders and New Homes for Sale. Once you see what builders are in the area check their individual sites.

You can look at websites for the following builders:
Perry
Meritage
Ryland
David Weekley
Royce

I would also try newhomesource.com - that will help you find out what builders are building in those areas.

honestly. New homes in Sugar Land or Katy for 150-225??? You will be very hard pressed to find an area that will have very many new homes in this range.

icon7 is right... you will have to look at Richmond adresses. This morning I saw a Kimball Hill sign advertising homes from the 150's in Fieldstone which has a Richmond address..

Thanks for the Info. I had hoped some builders were offering incentives to bring the pricing down.

I keep hearing wonderful things about David Weekley Homes. That's the first builder I would investigate if I were in the market for a new home.

Thanks Topaz. I think I saw where he had inventory homes for around 200K

Just wondering what typical incentives are and do they affect price or upgrades. You settled in Greatwood is that right. If so how do you like it

A while back I saw people picketing in front of their main office. Stopped to speak w/them. Very interesting.

We've never purchased a new home so I don't know much about builder incentives.

We're in New Territory, not Greatwood. We are renting because we signed a year lease until we understood the area better. Since my son is starting kindergarten in the Fall, we'll try to buy a home zoned to the same elementary school so he won't have to change schools.
