195 voters polled. This poll is a joke.

I have to believe there are a lot of people in Harris County that think we can do better on the most important issue of the day - public safety.

All polls are a joke. But Harris County is blue and the GOP has too much power in Texas and is using that to strip rights from women. So Lina will probably win with room to spare.

Lina and Co. have done a real bang up job in Harris County, turning it into a real **** hole.

The only way she wins is if the Democrat party is successful in stealing another election.

They were able to do that the last go around because they had Deep State / UNiparty support and acquiescence from RINOs like Mitch McConnell, McCarthy, Graham, etc.

Not sure if they'll get the go ahead on that again, but they'll try.

In my opinion the Democrats outsmarted the Republicans with the mail-in voting process across the nation. I don't think they stole the election, but they took advantage of the legal loopholes to win.

Can they do it again? We shall see... I think the elimination of straight-party voting will hurt Lina this time around. Also, I can't find any information on drive-thru voting. Does anyone know if this will be allowed in Harris County?

What does that even mean?

Making it easier for people to vote is nothing like "stealing" an election, or "taking advantage of legal loopholes." Both of those concepts suggest that making it easier to legally cast a ballot is somehow wrong. Maybe the problem is that Republicans think it is RIGHT to make it difficult for people to vote? To me, that is undemocratic (small d).

Or… Trump lost the election. If they win in 2024 year it’s because Joe Biden is unpopular. If they lose it won’t be based on mail in ballots just as it wasn’t in 2020.

Wide spread mail-in voting simply is not a secure system and defeats two sacrosanct tenets of vote integrity: secrecy and verification. These vote drop-boxes are in unsecured location. No one verifies that the person handling the votes is authorized to do so. And there is no robust form to verify that the actual voter was the one who completed the ballot. It's banana republic level bullsh*t.

There is no legitimate reason for widespread mail-in voting. It has never been easier to vote in-person. The only reason to continue pushing mail-in voting is if you benefit from vote fraud. If you have a legitimate reason for not voting in person (travelling or health issues) then we have absentee voting available.

Just because it *feels* insecure to you, and you characterize it as "banana republic style election," doesn't mean that it is. People have tried really really hard to show that there was abuse of mail-in and drive-through voting, and have failed to find any evidence of that. Some states do entirely mail-in voting. You are simply wrong.

Predictable talking points. There are several videos showing people dropping off stacks of ballots in the middle of the night. Perhaps they were legitimate votes. Perhaps not. The burden of proof should be on the government to ensure integrity not the other way around. There has never been a legitimate audit done of mail in voting because it cannot be done. How can you retroactively go back and verify that authorized people dropped off those huge stacks of votes in those unsecured collection box?

Signature verification is also a pretty lame way to verify that the actual voter filled out the ballot. My signature changes on a daily basis. How freaking subjective can you get!

I am not even going to get into the secret ballot issue which you completely ignored.

Again, no legitimate reason for wide spread mail in voting. Early voting has been expanded. Lots of voting polls available.
