Do you have anything that does not have a permit, like a new shed or new renovation? Well, expect that to be reported. Do you park too many cars? Expect that to be reported. Do you have too many weeds? Expect that to be reported. Do you play music? Expect that to be reported. Basically, once you start the snitching war, you can expect to have a neighbor who learns every single rule and regulation and report it. This can be costly if it involves a property tax violation like an unreported renovation.

That is if they are unwilling to go outside the law to get revenge. Maybe they are not opposed to flattening your tires or breaking a window? I had a neighbor use grass killer and spell "Go **** Yourself" in the night and then the neighbor who loved his lawn had a dead spot of "GO **** YOURSELF" in brown in the middle of his otherwise perfect green grass. He had to have it all cut out and put new sod in to get rid of it no matter what he did.

Who knows what you are opening yourself up for................. Go talk to the people if it bothers you... or leave it alone.

A row of oleanders against the back fence and that problem goes away.

They are cheaper than trees, grow faster and are more drought tolerant.

Is your neighbor behind you or beside you?

I understand how you feel, but most cameras are pointed to a certain spot and cannot cover two entire yards. I assume you have a privacy fence surrounding your back yard?
