My husband was recently promoted and we will be moving from Jackson, MS to Houston by July 1st. Few questions: My husband was offered a salary of 75k and I am a stay at home mom/student mainly but I do a little work from home which brings in about 5k a year...with that being said, will we able to live off of a 80k salary comfortably? Also, we are looking to rent for about 6 months to a year and eventually buy...can you suggest some great family neighborhoods (we have two children, 1 and 3) and also some neighborhoods to avoid? We would really like to rent a 3bdrm apt/house/condo but really don't want to exceed $1400 a month. Any of your help would be greatly appreciated!

Houston Real Estate - Houston Homes, Houston Home Value and Houston Relocation under residential lease. Where is your husband job located? You might want to lease a place close to his job, commute can be very long.
