Ok I've been looking around the Katy area to buy a new home. But the problem is which home is worth buying? My realtor is not much help and these are the builders I have been looking at (HRHORTON, TROPHY, AND LAKERIDGE) Im looking around the 130,000-140,000 range ONE STORY home. Please let me know what is worth buying and have good resell value.

Thanks,

DT

D.R. Horton and Trophy are both cheap builders with bad reps. Never heard of Lakeridge.

Check out Centex(Morton Ranch) and/or get yourself a new Realtor asap.

There are plenty of Realtor on this Board(check for the title under the username) I'm sure one of them will be of better service than the realtor you're using now, try sending them a Direct Message

It seems pretty quite, The only rap about Morton Ranch is it's not located and zoned to the "South Katy area and schools". I think it's BS, all of Katy is nice(some areas are just nicer than others)

You can search for homes on HAR.com. Use MLS area 36. Are you looking at new construction or resale?
