I really wish people stopped throwing around the words "progressive" and "conservative" when the word that they are actually trying to use has nothing to do with either progressive or conservative

I had a co-worker that used to use the word "conservative" all the time.
One day he said "The Cowboys just need to play more conservative" .... what the hell does that mean?

It's like my motorcycle club "10 'n 10". 10 bars in 10 hours.

Just sayin'...

# 1 city for Business. #1 in job creation in the state that created the most. # coolest city according to Forbes, etc.
But we are boring.

If you cannot entertain yourself in Houston, sorry you are just a moron. No fix there.

We have year round arts and entertainment. Art/cultural fairs and parades, Museums, theater, opera, symphony, all major sports with modern stadiums/arenas. Parks, shopping, beaches, broadwalks, restaurants galore, bars, pubs, clubs, galleries. Etc, etc, etc.

Bored people sound more like lazy whiners to me. Get your butt in your car; stop being cheap and FILL up the tank and drive outside your little neighborhood and EXPLORE.

If you get out that much, then every city is going to be like that after a year. Solution: travel more.

Or maybe develop some new interests even.

Question is it there is nothing to do(which I disagree with0 or is it a matter of cost ?

29-95 is a great mag on what is going on around Houston , but many of the things in them cost money, I just booked tickets to see lion king and the cheapest ticket was 45, plus tax, all and all almost 70s bucks, who other than wealthy people can afford to come off that kinda money three four times a week ?

Exactly! When our kids were young and they said their were bored we always answered with, "Only boring people are bored!" That probably goes for some adults too.
