My girlfriend and I have narrowed our search to four apartments.

1. The Landmark at Sugar Land

2. Parkside Apartments In Sugar Land

3. Enclave At Woodbridge

4. Gables Edgewater

*********** Safety if my #1 Concern *********

Any info on this would be great. When I look at apartmentratings.com they do not get very good reviews. But it seems that the only people that review are the ones that are dissatisfied. And it seems like very few of the people that are happy with their apartment don't review.

Call the local police department and ask for crime statistics for each of the properties. That's one way to assess the safety of each apartment building.

No. I have not lived in an APT. since I was 5.

My Brother in Law and a friend from Church lived at Enclave At Woodbridge. They said it was Ok. All the apartments have granite and what have you, gated entry, etc. This was 3 + years ago.

My best friend lived at Gables Edgewater, before he relocated this year...he said there were never any issues, because it seemed like a lot of the residents were long term and rates were expensive. I visited him many times there, even late night. Never felt unsafe.

The Landmark at Sugar Land is located near a very nice development, Chelsea Harbor, I am making the assumption that this apartment would also be rather decent.

Parkside Apartments In Sugar Land is located SW of Enclave At Woodbridge, I always see an ad for $899 in front of the building. Plus on a few websites (use Google) I have read about lots of complaints about the management.

Finally, use Rent.com to review places (you can use a fake email to access the site)

Does anyone know how much an electric bill would be for a 2 Bed 2 bath?
