I've been reading these boards for a quite a while now and there seems to be a recurring theme:

Houston posters seem almost obsessed with the whole Houston v. Dallas thing while Dallas posters don't really seem to buy into the rivalry that much.

Every time I've visited my good friend in Houston I've had a great time. Great people. Great food. Great skyline and downtown. Great stuff to do.

It's almost as if there is an unjustified inferiority complex at work here. Thoughts?

Calvin

uhh we don't buy it either. People just try to sell the idea over here more for some reason. Definately not any complex that I know of.

Uh, lets see if I get this right...Dallasite obsessed with Houston registers and uses his first post to come to the Houston board to tell Houstonians they are too concerned about Dallas. Did I get it? Let me try another guess....You're about 14 years old. Did I get it again?

It's equal both places, so I don't know what you are talking about.

But there is one thing I have noticed, people from Houston and Dallas argue about each other's cities all the time, but when attacked on by outsiders, we band together....usually.

There is no Houston vs. Dallas rivalry other than that attempted to be created by some few people on this message forum. If you have nothing to be proud of in your life beyond what city that you happen to live in then I propose you examine said life and maybe make some changes.
