Does anyone know of a good place for breakfast in the Sugar Land area? I'm not talking about a fancy-schmancy brunch place, just a good breakfast that's not I-Hop...

Are there are no Kolache-type places/bakeries out there? I would think these would be in nearly every part of town.

I haven't found any awesome Mom & Pop breakfast place here yet. The best I've found so far is that Stafford is right next to Sugar Land and has Avalon Diner and 59 Diner.

In Sugar Land proper, my Google sleuthing turned up....*clears throat*

A) IHOP
B) Denny's
C) Waffle House.
D) Mickey D's

That's it. Not even a Cracker Barrel. Underserved niche perhaps? But, uh, I guess you can drive to Stafford or Rosenberg.

How long before House of Pies sets up in Sugar Land?

Pretty pathetic choices, I agree! Some enterprising hospitality entrepreneur needs to fix this.
