Well they did respond, by saying that they have another offer for a significantly higher price if it does not go thru they will call me, but they tried to tell me about another home they have their. Another question i had was if anyone is familiar with Fieldstone, does one even stands a chance of getting a home their for under 140 ?

Ashar, you need to get an agent, they will help you with that, why haven't you got one yet? A buyers agent is paid for by the builder, it is built into their costs and you won't get a reduction for not using one. Get an agent who knows that area and they can tell you what the going prices are etc.

Richmond, TX, Real Estate Listings and Richmond, TX Homes for Sale - Realtor.com

Ashar, you're right to just let it go and allow that "high bid" person to have it. I imagine at this point, you are expected to up your offer.

I don't know the area, but since you do~check out the link above. There are a LOT of houses listed at 150,000 or below. I would imagine that if you find one at the higher end, you could easily get it for 130,000. Good luck to you.

Just because they filled for chapter 11 doesn't mean you'll get a better deal. They are undergoing reorganization, so selling that low is not likely.
