Definitely good news considering how it seems schools are turning into the next battlefield. One of the good reasons texas is number 1.

that district is so far out in the county that the sheriff is 30 min away from the high school---and out there LOTS of people have access to guns...
I can understand why they might think that is a necessary evil but believe me, the idea of having a gun in a classroom is NOT a good idea...
just because you have taken classes in how to fire a weapon does not prepare you to deal with situations like what happened at Columbine

frankly I just don't see how that is legal with the way the law is written...
around here people can get in trouble for having a legal weapon in their car going through a school zone if they are stopped for speeding and the gun is found...I guess because the ISD has forbidden guns around schools...
