Ok so I don't know if there's anything majorly wrong with my two-year-old unit or not, but I'm gonna call somebody out to check it out just in case. If there's something he can do to help me keep my units from running nonstop all day it'll be worth it. So does anybody have an HVAC company in the Katy/W. Houston area that they really like and trust? The guy who checked the units for the previous homeowners after our inspections didn't do a very thorough check for sure, didn't replace the filters as we had asked, and must not have spoken great english based on the note he wrote basically saying the unit was up to code and in good condition.

I don't know anyone, but I would probably look on katypros.com if I didn't get a referral elsewhere.

did ours, and I recommend them. Ask to see if they travel out to Katy.

Try Alpine Air (713) 433-5641

We've used them for about 5 years and they are good guys. When we did have to replace the condensor, they were $300 cheaper than the next cheapest quote. The same guy (Jim) comes every time, and he explains everything to you in lay mans terms!

Default Alpine Air

Don't use Alpine Air - I'm in my second new home that the builder used Alpine Air... I always have problems.

4 months in the house and still problems.
