Well, now that we have that out of the way, should we start a thread about favorite Shipley's flavors?

All this talk of donuts and kolaches is killing me! I am STARVING.

And since I've never eaten a donut from Dunkin' I can't weigh in on this debate, but I will say that I love Shipley's donuts. Anyone remember Mary Lee Donuts off of the Gulf Frwy.? Used to go there a lot as a kid.
I've been to the one in Deer Park...on Center...been awhile tho..I like all of the choices you have there...

I did not read the entire thread so apologies if I am redundant.
There is a Dunkin' Donuts on Highway 6 N and I believe it was Mickey D's that won for best coffee last year.
Both DD and Mickey D's are great.

Krispy Kreme has the best doughnuts, hands down.
I grew up in North Carolina, so I may be a bit biased.
Too bad they left the Houston area and might actually go out of business.

COFFEE- no flavors, no whipped cream with cherries, just good hot coffee, that is what I like throughout the day (and then I wonder why I do not sleep at night)
