P.S.

Why are you putting your clippings in a landfill? Pretty much any lawn mower in the past 10 years is a mulching type, which makes tiny clippings and just blows them throughout the yard and they serve as free fertilizer. The only clippings in the trash are the very, very small amount that you sweep up off the driveway, etc.

Repeat this process every week with every house in the city and you can imagine how much labor, water and land it takes to keep our lawns looking the same. There has to be more important reasons. If I ever catch a glimpse of my Gestapo neighborhood monitors, I will be sure to ask.

I got to thinking that a garden or mini farm would be a more productive use of my front lawn. Has anybody done something like this? I would love to hear from you.

lol - you must want more correspondence from your HOA.
