Try It's Playtime Childcare near Kirby and 59 if your night out takes you towards West U/ The Galleria or Downtown.

Discovery Gymnastics also has drop off child care on weekends. I think the kids need to be potty trained. (they are located in the Heights and have an awesome center).

We have also used Sitter City .com and loooovvved the sitter we found. She is busy, but has lots of credentials.

Sitter City charges to get the numbers and contact sitters, but I split the cost with 2 other friends....

Check with your local YMCA. Ours does a kids night a couple times a month for several hours. They usually have age appropriate games and movies. The Houston YMCA

It's playtime looks like a nice alternative when we don't actually have the leisure of using our parents night out at my sons facility. Thanks for posting that link.

Moderator cut: orphaned

To the OP: people on here have given you good advice. We don't have family here either. My daughter goes to daycare (Kids R Kids) and about every 6 weeks or so they offer a parent's night out. For my location it's 6:30pm-midnight. They feed them dinner, and charge between $5-7/hr depending on how old the child is.

Good luck finding someone you trust!! I hope it works out for you!

The Little Gym near us has a Friday night drop in...don't know if you have one near you. I have never used it so it may not be appropriate for your little one. Local churches often have a parents night out type program. Our church has one and takes non-members too. Also...the YMCA has parent night out programs. Good luck!
