Look, I don't think we disagree here, I think you're just misunderstanding me. My point is that the Cowboys may be loved dearly in all parts of the country and the majority of Texas (I didn't mean just the metro areas of Austin, SA, etc), but not here in Houston. A lot of that has to do with the Oilers leaving us. That's not to say there aren't Cowboys fans here--of course there are. And, there are some that are Cowboys fans BECAUSE of the Texans. It will take a while before the Texans catch on. Give us a winning season or two and you'll see many more people around TX--and the country--rooting for Houston again.
you make good points, and i respect those individuals who are faithful to houston, but simply put, they're not an excellent team. many folks here hardly pay any attention to them. i assure you that there are tons of cowboys fans here in houston. and should the texans one day become very popular, it will be from a lot of people jumping on the bandwagon. same thing happened with the patriots.

so if there is a die hard texans fan, i don't know him.

it's a much different story for the rockets, but when i watch a texans game, i get sad.

NEVER having a winning football team is all the more reason to move out of Texas.

Go Broncos!

Get out of here, troll. Go cheer for your Broncos on the Colorado threads. Thank you.

Perhaps. But there's still a chance they can make it a decent season by the time they play the Colts again. The team has to win. Kubiak has to improve his game preparations and these guys have to be up. You can only earn the right to be called a winner, and the Texans have to win to get to that point.

Yes, apparently so. Schaub only threw for 379 last week and that was a franchise record. And the Lions' defense has been terrible, so the Texans should have no problem mowing through it today.

I'm sure they're all happy now that the Rams smoked them this afternoon. If you lose by 20 to this year's Rams team, you're not good.

After today's game, Sage Rosenfels threw an interception in the shower and another in the parking lot on the way to his car.
