I don't know where you were house hunting, but I just went to a party in a West University neighborhood that had a ton of Obama signs and the neighborhood was gorgeous with extremely nice homes. What did you find unappealing about the neighborhoods you visited?

I haven't seen many signs in Sugar Land for either candidate, but the few that I have seen in my neighborhood are for McCain. Maybe there are people like me who support Obama but they just don't want to stir up their famously conservative Sugar Land neighbors.

I would probably put an Obama sign out except we are renting this house and since I don't know the political leanings of the homeowner, I don't think it would be respectful to the home owner to make political statements on her property.

Folks, since over HALF of your posts had to be deleted for being Off-Topic... Off-Topic meaning Political discussions/debates/arguments/bashing instead of on the OP's topic... this thread is now closed.

Political topics are to be discussed in ONE forum only... the Political and Other Controversies Forum.
