What restaurant in Houston (inside 610 or close to it) has the best soup? The weather has gotten cooler and I'm craving soup that I don't have to make.

I don't know about restaurant soup, but Whole Foods has a variety of excellent soups and stew 363(4) days a year.

I love me some good Vietnamese Pho (rice noodle soup) this time of year. There are endless Pho restaurants all over Houston.

I wish I knew of a soup restaurant...

I usually break down and get the soup 'n salad at Jason's deli, which usually isn't bad.

I was thinking more like savory soups, not noodle soup. Like the kinds made by Soup Nazi!

There are plenty of Pho(Vietnamese noodle soup) restaurants in Houston. If you live in SW Houston or even NW there is a Pho Danh. If you want to try the best place, go to Pho Binh(Beechnut&Wilcrest). If you live/work downtown, you'll have to settle for Pho Saigon. If you want American soup, there used to be a place around town called Tomato Soup(?) i think. If you want some average soup, go to Soup n' Salad. Don't know if it is still there, but there was a Soup n' Salad on Post Oak(in Galleria).
