Should be aluminum.
However I think if they build to meet the EFL standard, vinyl should be included.

Fujianzhang how much did you spend in upgrades? My wife and I are planning to build a Westin home but we're unsure which floor plan to go with because each floor plan has things she doesn't like. We would like to weigh the options of purchasing a floor plan like the Tuscany which is 247k and then adding the media room and 5th bed/bath upstairs. Of course all the essential upgrades like level 2 granite and better insulation amongst other things. Did the sales manager give you the price sheet of the cost of upgrades?

Yes. I have the list. We have a list of $25,000 upgrades and are adding more.

I am not sure if we are allowed to add some stuff which are not included in the options, e.g. back garage door.

Per my contract, we need pay 50% for upgrades if the cost is less than 30,000k and pay full for upgrades beyond 30,000K.

When we built our Patterson at Cardiff, we didn't get a choice on the windows, it was all the same... This subdivision does have a lot of "green" features though, so maybe they already came upgraded...

you should negotiate that in the contract, unless you already singed it.

we knocked it down to 30% of whatever the total amount was. we ended up doing about 15K in upgrades.

Default Spindles - Stairs and Landings

Do you know if Westin charges separately for Spindles for Stairs and Spindles for Landings for Barcelona?

Default Spindles - Stairs and Landings

Forgot to mention that in the Standard Features list from Westin Homes:

Wrought Iron Spindles on Staircase - What does this mean????

Does it mean they will cover the entire Staircase including the Landings???

Please advise.

Thanks
