Another thing is when mothers have their babies all bundled up when it gets below 70. There they are, red little faces because they are burning up. Geez.
I am still wearing capris and a short sleeve top, unless it gets in the 50's. Then I go with long sleeves.

Everything is air conditioned around here, and the most get used to the humidity within a year or two. From October to May, the weather is great. I find myself missing the humidity when I travel to drier/colder climates. Contrary to popular belief, people do go outside in Houston in the summer. We plan our activities around the weather, and manage to exist like everyone else.

That's a joke right? Or did you mean most don't? I lived in LaPorte and Dickinson my whole life and I've worked outside (not inside in the climate control) and the summers here can never be "get used to". The summers are sufficating and so humid that when I left for work at 4:30 in the morning (yes 4:30 AM) I would be soaked when I stepped outside and my entire car was wet for the humidity. Now I've moved to a dry heat and god it's f'in great. Only down side is more lotion and chap stick use.

And of course people go outside, lol. It just makes it not as enjoyable to be there unless you're on a boat and even then you enter the water at your own risk.

Yeah but it is what you are accustomed to - just because you are warm doesn't mean someone else is at that same temp. Everyone runs on their own internal thermometer.

I just went out to check the mail in short sleeves and shorts. I saw people shivering in their sweaters walking around.

Wussies.

What's funny is that unlike the few others I generally see not bundling up for 60-degree weather, I'm actually from around here.
