I'm remodeling a house in the Meyerland area, and can't seem to find simple hangling rectangular mirrors with a brushed steel/nickel frame anywhere in Houston. What's a good place to find a decent selection of affordable mirrors? I've already tried Hobby Lobby, Lowes, Home Depot, and Bed Bath & Beyond with no luck and I'm about to go insane.

I found decent mirrors at Lowe's actually ... all the way out in Cypress, though...after having tried a few other Lowe's in the NW area. There is also Lowe's.com....maybe check that out, too?

Restoration Hardware for the good stuff

Restoration Hardware (http://www.restorationhardware.com/rh/catalog/category/category_sub_w_products.jsp;jsessionid=LAZLIC31AJL YRLAWCUER5VVMCYKQKH20?navAction=jump&navCount=0&ca tegoryId=cat780009 - broken link)

You might try Target for a knock off

I bought a mirror at a glass shop and had Aaron Brothers frame it. Turned out great and actually was less expensive, and more custom, than Restoration Hardware.

I was going to suggest Garden Ridge too. I bought a beautiful black wrought iron one for them - half off.
I have a friend who took an ugly rectangular framed mirror and painted it silver - it looks very expensive and pretty darn good.
