Anyone know anything about the Waterstone community in Katy? The address is : 3110 Livingston Ridge Court Katy, TX 77449. It says it's "nestled" between Morton and Clay Rd. and 5 miles from Katy Mills Mall. Any opinions?

That's a new community - don't know much about it. It's zoned to the new elementary. I wouldn't go any further North however. If you're going to move on the North side of I-10, don't go any farther North than Morton, no further East than Mason. Go West and South as far as you like

Hi,

I live in Katy and just around the corner from Morton Road and down the street from Clay Rd. Waterstone is a new sub-divison that is still being built. It's amazing how it has a country setting and yet, just around the corner onto Mason rod, you get the feeling and the look that you are back in the city again. Very nice and serene. I live in Morton Ranch sub-division.

These are people opinions to which you will have to judge for yourself. People are the same the world over. There are people who work hard for what they have and can only afford what they can and take care of what they have.
I sujest that you venture to Katy and see what you like and what you can afford and go from there.
Whether it be Cinco Ranch, Morton Ranch, Willamsburg, Nottingham, Raintree, you decided. Katy is nice. So, it's not so much the place as it is the people. The south side is nice but remember when a lady was found slumped over in her car, dead? That was on the so called nice side of Katy, the South side right on Fry Rd and few years ago.

Waterstone is a brand new master plan community with only 2 Builders but rumors of a possible 3rd unconfirmed. The Builders are Beazer homes and Compass Pointe Homes. It is fenced and the road it is on is still 2 lanes. The entry is nice and it looks like a great choice for affordability and still going to Katy Schools. I would check the Katy Schools website for additional information on the schools it is routed to. I toured homes by both builders but preferred the one by Compass Pointe.

I believe the Grand Parkway extension will be in the area of the community which will be great for getting to the 1960 area. Beazer's prices will be less expensive and Compass will be the next step up for now. With any new community, it is impossible to tell what it will become but for now, master plan is a good thing. Did I mention enery efficiencies, mortgage protection plan, generous room sizes and easy access? No, I am not a sales rep for the community. I just liked what I saw.
