Can anyone help? I am here in Houston for a few weeks and have been invited to an informal gathering to watch the inauguration. I need to buy some Obama gear, i.e. t-shirt, hat, etc. but want to go to places that are relatively safe for me to travel to considering. Any suggestions?

I believe you should be able to find that type of gear from mall stores that sells urban outfits perhaps.

I have to ask...why are you worried about your safety?

There is a store in Midtown that sells lots of Obama gear. It is located directly across from the Breakfast Club (Klub). Google Breakfast Klub and find the address. The building has a huge mural of Obama on the side of it. This will be the most reliable and have the largest selection, probably.

Really though, you could have bought it online with a little planning ahead. The previous poster may also be right about going to malls. Watch out in Sugarland though, those Republicans are mean!!

Yea I was wondering the same thing. I am also wondering why they are not embarrassed to come on here and admit what they are doing.

My girlfriend and I were shopping at Urban Outfitters and I saw an Obama shirt there. I am not sure if they had more shirts or hats...or if that one was it. You could maybe call and ask what they have.
