Mind you - it's not my "click-bait" headline - l am just a messenger.

This is a bit confusing...
It's 55,000 square feet (some sources say: 66,000 sqft) with 11 awesome slides, many different aerial attractions like zip lining, swings, sports courts for basketball, soccer, dodge ball...
But why the confusing name?
Anyone happens to know?

Open Monday through Thursday 1 to 8:30 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

And it's not WORLD(?) first, or US first either. Similar entertainment parks exist in Denver and Chesterfield, MO. Apparently located within all Simon Shopping Centers.

Go figure...

Slick City is a chain of “Action Parks”. This is the third location after St Louis and Denver

The mall has really been evolving into an entertainment center. If there was better connections to the rest of Katy we could probably have something of a central entertainment district going on.

Yeah. The mall failed. But they’re trying to do an amusement park district

That's quite an overstatement.

never was designed to be a mall - just an outlet they've tried to convert into a traditional mall but they keep adding stuff at it to draw traffic

Of course it was designed to be a mall. An outlet mall. There has been no attempt to convert it into a traditional mall.

Give it a few years and it'll look like the old Sharpstown mall
