I also live in Katy new Cinco2 close to 1093 road. Behind our house at intersection of Cinco terrace and Cinco Rose, Builders are prepping up the land to make some commercial property it says on board its for Commercial/Mixed use. Our builder mentioned there will be LA fitness and a apartment complex. I personally dont like apartments near housing communty.

Wow, if that is the case, I am really sad about this.

It would be wise for the full interchanges at Grand Parkway and I-10 and down at the Westpark are completed before all the hospitals and corporate offices are developed. Traffic is already at a standstill.

Will the westward development down I-10 ever end? At this rate, we'll be connected to SA in about 50 yrs. I seriously wonder what the future looks like for this ever expanding I-10 development.

It's killing all the good goose hunting you used to be able to do close to town.

I always thought that they couldn't over build in portions of Katy because of the migratoy path of birds. Katy used to be a bird watching paradise. At least thats what I had always heard. I worked with a guy that was telling me all about the bird watching that used to go on in Katy & that the township had always vowed to protect that migratory path! I guess money makes all the difference! LOL
