Hello everyone I am Trying to find Somewhere for my fiance' and I to go for a nice weekend get away. We are in Spring Texas. We want to get away from the kids and the rest of the family but not too too far. Do anyone have a suggestion or know of somewhere we can check out?

I like the suggestions above. I would also try The Lancaster Hotel downtown, or head north to The Woodlands Resort or Lake Conroe. April Sound rents condos for weekends and it's a really nice place.

I would recommend The Houstonian over The Woodlands Resort, which is crawling with kids and the dining up there is pretty average. At least at The Houstonian it's ADULT,with an incredible spa, and fine dining is all around you.

Lost Pines in Bastrop would be good too. But during the week. The weekend it's crawling with midgets.

How about South Shore Harbor Resorts in League City? Nice view of the bay, and close by Kemah and other attractions? And while you're down there, you can book a sailing cruise with Captain Dave McCabe, owner of the Blue Marlin. He's great!
