Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. My bad. If you are trying to go to law school then I suppose that's a good degree to have. I guess I'm not into reading carefully today. And I'm crabby. I haven't had my soda jolt.

Yes Ma'am. They fired some professors and staffs members as well who wasn't meeting certain standards. I'm really excited for what's in store because we got lots of renovations going on; including a brand new Barnes and Noble's bookstore, Cafes, new pavilions, and more!

More On-Campus living, Higher requirements for attending, strict rules. They started a new policy where students must be dropped from a course if absent more than 6 days. Attendance is the biggest thing that has drag TSU down. TSU really is a jewel and lots of people would be surprised what's here. The Heartman Collection, Director of the only the Black Orchestra in the country teaches here; we graduate the largest percentage of black pharmacists in the world, and more!

Even though TSU is no longer on probation, I would not even consider attending.

I am glad that the school might work out for you.

lol

It has the worst quality students, in terms of college GPA and LSAT score, in the state among all 9 schools. It was consistantly (every single time) have the LOWEST bar passage rate. These are FACTS and not anyone's opinion. Not to mention that its law school and its law graduates are jokes among certain people/lawyers, I wonder where you get your information that "it is among the best in the country for law."

SOME of this is proven...the median LSAT score for students admitted is 147, compared to UH with a 162 (even though their web site says that they accepted someone this year with an LSAT score in the 140s). South Texas has a student median score of 150...not too much of a difference..UT 167. As far as GPAs go...TSU 3.0, UH 3.5, South Texas 3.5, UT 3.7. However, UH is a top tier school...so is UT...I think they are number 15. I haven't heard of any attorneys taking TSU grads as a joke...a few friends of mine that graduated from TSU got some pretty good offers/positions...so that's new to me. TSU says that they have had a bar passage rate of 77.43% for the past 5 years...UT 90%. Keep in mind though that b/t TSU and UT, there is no comparison. IDK...never considered them for law school simply b/c "they say" you shouldn't get your JD from the same school you obtained your BS from. UT would be my first choice HANDS DOWN, but it would be too far of a commute...hubby and kids would miss me terribly!

None of that crap you wrote above change the fact that TSU is the worst law school in the state among the 9 law schools and the fact that it has the lowest bar passage rate. Did you know they weed out the most students? In case you don't know what that means...it means that they take the students tuition and after a year or so, kick them out. So, a huge percentage of their students end up being a law school drop out and $$$ in debt. Nice, huh?
