Seems the people involved in Earth Quest Adventures have update their site: Contour Entertainment

There are some new pics from the site that show some more of the place.

I called the East Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. They're the biggest driving factor behind getting this park built in New Caney, and they've been working all sorts of deals to get this done. The person I talked to there confirmed this park is indeed green-lighted, and they will break ground in the spring of next year. While I haven't been up to New Caney in quite a bit of time, I'm told by some co-workers that the area itself has already vastly improved.

This would be just what we need since Six Idiots closed Astroworld. 4th largest city in US and no theme parks my foot!

To be fair, Astroworld wasn't maintained well and suffered from poor attendance in the last 5 years of its operation.

I must admit that I didn't miss Astroworld when it was initially closed. I didn't see the big picture because I was sick of the place from having gone there hundreds of times in my youth. I have a ton of great memories from there and one really bad one when I was like 15 and my girlfriend from school caught me walking around with another girl holding hands...surprised I made it out of there alive...ahh good times. Anyways, I took that place for granted, it was kind of like just going to the park for me, but now that I have a little one, I just imagine sometimes how excited she would have been to see and run around that place. I definitely would have had to get season passes.

When does my property value go up so I can sell it? LOL (I own 4 lots in Roman Forest). Oh, and like another poster said, I'll believe it when I am standing in the middle of it.
