Never been to Sugarland but geez that is soo far away from Gunspoint!! Have you looked into Fall Creek?? As for Kingwood really nice and tons of children all around. Homes go fast around there and they hold there value. They do not go down from what I have seen. I actually believe they are a little over priced and seeing as alot of them are older and need upgrading we are having ah ard time with moving there. Still a beautiful location!

Yeah between Kingwood and Sugarland with you working in Greenpoint, I'd pick Kingwood just cause it's closer. Why isn't The Woodlands on your list?

For $250,000 you can get a lot of house, either a nicer, newer tract home or an older, established custom home in some of the great neighborhoods.

I would suggest 77379 on Houston Real Estate - Houston Homes, Houston Home Value and Houston Relocation
Thank you for the suggestion. Because we did not grow up in USA and fully focused on our degrees for the past years, we have no idea about districts and school zones. Woodland indeed is a good option if my wife will not work for the future. But she does want to work. If she works in town. That is a long drive for her.

Why do you assume that she would only work in downtown? What would she be doing if she did work?

The places like Kingwood, the Woodlands, the Champions areas all have places to work. They are not just rows and rows of houses with some schools scattered about. They are basically little cities unto themselves.
