Thoughts form those who have children at these schools? I see that actually Maplebrook scored higher on Taks over all. Summerwood seeming to be the less desirable school of the three?? Seems that the majority of the teachers there are green.

My son goes to Eagle Springs elementary and he loves his teacher! He is only in kindergarten but I can tell you that the teachers have great ideas. His teacher is GREAT and keeping in contact with letting you know how your child is doing. It's a great community and great school!!

Summerwood is a great school, but the principal is a disaster!! My kids have attended for the last 4 years since it opened. Staff morale is awful, she's a horrible leader, and seems to be only in it for herself. She's never around for any afterschool activities, and treats the PTO as the enemy. Many of the current staff are jumping ship to go to the new Lakeshore Elementary opening in the fall; their new principal and asst. principal have a great registration. Summerwood has the potential to be a great school, but not until we can get that awful principal out of there!!
