we're thinking about purchasing a DPH house, inventory. Since it's already finished we don't need to deal with construction. However, points of consideration: house been on the market since 07, they want us tpo use DPH/PCC contract instead of TREC promulgated one (i.e. verbiage is questionable), and ameripoint title company, min. warranty...

Considering everything going on with them any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. Any thoughts about using their contract & the title company??

All the builders want you to use their contracts and they are all one sided. I would push to have a independent title company be used and make sure that you have a third party warranty provider.

Get ya a Realtor. They deal with this stuff all the time! trust me t is worth it to not have to deal with the headache! We also are purchasing an inventory home by a different builder that has sat for two years. Our Realtor talked us through the entire thing thus far!
