Will anyone offer recommendations on a good floor installer for the Katy area? I am looking at installing wood flooring in my new home and need someone reliable, dependable, and most of all reasonable.

We used Floors for U off of grand parkway 3 years ago to do our whole first floor except kitchen. We had a great experience but you have to request the best installer...I think they have several contractors. Ask for the owner's nephew...he was very good...meticulous. They also had the best price!

I have used Joe's Floor Sanding twice to refinish my old hardwoods, and I have been very pleased with his work. I'm pretty sure he does new installations too. His number is (713) 433-3812.

I guess it is the same person, I used Joe Hardwoods to refinish the floors in my house in Glenbrook. They go all over though and also do installation.
