Haven't paid much attention. I think they are mostly lofts though right? I'd assume they are high rent. Great area though. If I had to rent in Houston these days, I think that's were I'd do it.

Edit: Here's the link to them. Yep. Sounds pricey. http://www.citycentrehouston.com/apartments.html (broken link)

Oh jeez, I hope you aren't using that line to market to Memorial.

I can say with a fair amount of certainty that the above poster is not managing the property anymore. I **** and moan to management daily and know all of them on a first name basis. :P

I have seen a 2BDR open house condo there and it was priced to match southern california urban living condos of a similar ilk at the height of the bubble.

If you can afford a $600K 2 bdr condo, then I have no idea why you would be buying it in Houston. Go somewhere with a beach.

ummm...because Houston is the place where you are making the money that allows you to buy the 600k condo???? Just saying.

The new brownstones next to Luby's are right at the million mark.

Wonder if they are selling? Haven't checked MLS lately.

I saw that price & about flipped out since their best view is looking over the post office. But it's such a neat area....they should sell just fine.
