The original plan was to go up to the Heights but I was nearing my limit of how far I can walk and still be able to walk tomorrow. I need my legs tomorrow, but for something I'll actually get paid for

The Heights will be coming soon though.

LOL - I'm copying your route down. Don't think I can manage it with 2 babies yet but it definitely looks like something to pass along to others wanting a taste of different areas (on foot) in Houston and for our adventurous tourist visitors.

The most we walked is Midtown-Montrose-Rice Village-Downtown-Buffalo Bayou-Midtown. I thought we were mad, gonna take my hat off to you!

This is the first time I realized the no-zoning in Houston. I like the Storage place being built next to that house. The pics are great though.

You should have went to Stanton's for a burger when you were in the 6th ward.

You are indeed one of my favorite posters here at C-D. You really never disappoint with your photo threads and I think you capture the diverse and multifaceted character of your town like none other. Thanks.

BTW, make the photo threads as long as you want, man. They're worth the wait.

People walking? In Houston?! You and Roberto must be starting a trend. Makes no difference to me though. I'll stick to using my hoveround.

Not quite. I'm starting a trend. Roberto is complaining on the Internet. That's a trend that's already played out.

Sampaguita, anyone who goes over Buffalo Bayou on Studemont and directly north should stay on the left, unlike I did. I did it the hard way. If they are on Washington Avenue they should probably head up Houston Avenue to White Oak and take that toward the Heights. That's where the next one of these is going.

westres, Washington Avenue will be revisited. I was just kind of passing through this time...
