There is a Mamacita's on I-45 N and I think it is part of the chain that is also in other parts of TX--they have a fabulous green sauce that comes with the chips and salsa, I freaking LOVE it.

Oh, and I wanted to add, your user name is cracking me up, are those two things you never leave the house without? LOLOLOL
When it asked me for my username, I glanced at some items on the shelf, and Mitchum Carmex was born!

I tend to agree with your statement. The one in Pearland is out of control. It wasn't always like that. But if you want really good Mexican Food, try La Casita on Clovermist Ln. near Clover Field Airport.

Empire Cafe on Westheimer near Dunlavy in Montrose. Also, Baby Barnaby's green eggs can't be beat.

Thumbs up Breakfast Klub!

Breakfast Klub -- I'm not quite sure when one entry writer describes the patrons as "sketchy" but everytime I've visited, the crowd is mixed culture and professional. Keep in mind they close at 2 pm. The staff is very professional, warm and helpful. Maybe you should give it a try and experience it for yourself.

I second Empire Cafe and Buffalo Grille.

Also, for something completely unpretentious and straight out of 1950's small-town America, try the Bellaire Coffee Shop.

I've heard that Tel-Winks is good. Haven't tried it for myself though. It is on Telephone road.
